MANILA, Philippines — Chery Tiggo coach KungFu Reyes is elated to have fit-again Alina Bicar running his plays but he remains patient with the progress of the returning setter in her comeback from missing the PVL season last year.
Bicar, who sat out after the first conference last year due to a knee injury, continued to regain her rhythm and build a strong connection with the Crossovers as they pulled off a come-from-behind 25-21, 18-25, 22-25, 25-19, 15-13 victory over the Petro Gazz Angels in the 2024 PVL All-Filipino Conference on Thursday evening at Smart Araneta Coliseum. MANILA, Philippines — Savi Davison’s dominating presence has fueled the surge of the PLDT High Speed Hitters to the top of the 2024 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference.
Davison continued to showcase her scoring prowess to lead PLDT’s perfect week with an average of 21.0 points in two games to force a three-way share of the lead with a 5-1 win-loss record tied with defending champion Creamline and Choco Mucho.
