Hospitality technology specialist Mews has acquired group and meetings technology company Quotelo for an undisclosed amount.
The deal, which is the tenth acquisition for Mews and its first in France, adds groups, meetings and events expertise for the Amsterdam-based company.
Quotelo, founded in 2021, aims to speed up the event quotation, booking and management for hotels and resorts.
“As more properties rethink their real estate to offer more than accommodation, an event management solution is vital to manage events, conferences and meetings. By offering exceptional sales and catering services, hotels can attract more events to their properties, which not only boosts additional revenue, but also fills rooms and promotes other hotel services,” said Matt Welle, CEO of Mews.

“Mews’ focus on simplifying and automating operations for hoteliers is truly aligned to our vision of revolutionizing and rehumanizing event hospitality,” said Tristan Gibausset, co-founder and co-CEO of Quotelo.
In addition to offering a streamlined booking engine for the meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions [MICE] segment, Quotelo also automates other elements of the process including quotations and function sheets.
Mews Ventures most recently acquired HS3 in Germany in May. The company also acquired Frontdesk Anywhere at the beginning of the year and Nomi Travel in October 2023.
In September Mews announced $100 million in financing from Vista Equity Partners. Earlier this year the company announced $110 million led by Kinnevik and valuing the company at $1.2 billion.
