Google Cloud has partnered with Air France-KLM to help the airline group make better use of its data and generative artificial intelligence as well as drive innovation.
Air France-KLM hopes to improve the travel experience and deliver more personalized products and services, as well as optimize operations, by boosting data and AI capabilities.
Earlier this year, the airline group announced an IT transformation that aims to move its data infrastructure to the cloud with Tata Consultancy Services named as a technology partner at the time.

Through the Google Cloud partnership, Air France-KLM hopes to gain a better understanding of passenger preferences, travel patterns and behavior which will enable it to tailor services to travelers. It also wants to drive operational efficiency on the ground and in the air.
The partnership also enables Air France-KLM to take advantage of Google Cloud’s generative AI expertise as the airlines build a โcommon, joint and unique data lakehouse,โ a statement said.
