Latin America-based super app Rappi has partnered with Madrid-based Civitatis to launch a new tours and activities vertical within Rappi Travel.
Civitatis offers more than 90,000 experiences around the globe that are tailored to Spanish- and Portugese-speaking travelers.
“This strategic alliance represents a step forward in Rappi’s mission to simplify the lives of its users,” said Guido Becher, global head of Rappi Travel. “Now, users can find in a single app not only solutions for their day-to-day lives, such as delivery to restaurants, pharmacies, and supermarkets, but also everything they need to book their trips and weekend getaways with the best benefits.”
Activities available through the partnership will include guided tours, local activities, excursions, tickets to attractions and parks and more – all instantly bookable – and there will be “exclusive benefits” for Rappi’s loyalty members.
Rappi Travel already offers hotels, packages, flights and car rental options for its users. With the soon-to-be integration of Civitatis, the company wants to be a “complete travel solution” and to serve travelers’ rising demand for experiences.

Headquartered in Colombia, Rappi also operates in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru and Uruguay.
“This agreement with Rappi is an important step in further strengthening our strategic position in Latin America via access to over 22 million active users in the region,” said Alberto Gutiérrez, CEO at Civitatis.
Rappi has established other partnerships as well, including one with Marriott, focused on loyalty and another with Amadeus. And Civitatis has been growing. The company has received funding in recent years including a $50 million infusion in June from Vitruvian Partners after $100 million in 2022.
