Hotel Treats has won the 2024 People’s Choice Award in the category of Scaleup at the Phocuswright/WebinTravel Global Startup Pitch event, while Nowadays received the People’s Choice Award in the cateogry of Seedup.
The competition, sponsored by JetBlue Ventures, began in the spring with more than 200 startups. Judges from across the travel industry picked 10 winners from four regions – Asia Pacific, Emerging Markets, Europe and North America – and two from the Wildcards category.
The winning companies, announced in August, traveled to WiT Singapore last week where the audience picked their favorite Seedup and Scaleup as the People’s Choice winners.
Hotel Treats will be showcased at The Phocuswright Conference, November 19-21, in Phoenix with Nowadays also winning a place to attend the event.
The Global Startup Pitch is part of WiT and Phocuswright’s ongoing commitment to cultivate innovation, which also includes Phocuswright’s Innovation: Launch, Startup Programs, PhocusWire’s Hot 25 Travel Startups, WiT Bootcamps and more.
