Besty AI, an artificial intelligence powered messaging service for vacation rentals and hotels, has raised $1.5 million in seed funding.
The investment in the company, which launched in October 2023, was led by Bungalow Capital and Ridge Ventures.
In a statement, Besty AI CEO Sam Dundas said the funds will go towards enhancing its platform and doubling the size of the 10-strong team in the next few months.
He added that the New York-based startup has maintained a 34% month-over-month growth rate, now with more 15,000 properties across 25 countries since launch.

The company’s AI-powered platform automates guest communications and upselling, enabling more efficient operations for property managers, increased revenue and an improved guest experience.
Dale Smith, CEO of property management company Host & Stay, which is a customer of the startup, said, “Introducing Besty AI into our technology stack has had a significant impact on our business. It has driven increased efficiency in our Guest Relations team, giving our agents more time to focus on value add actions as opposed to answering the same guest queries time and time again.”
Besty AI also integrates with property management systems including Guesty, Hostaway, Hostfully and Lodgify, with further integrations on the way.
